I LOVE LOVE LOVE soap nuts. They are the cheapest, most natural laundry solution out there! This link is free shipping and only 12.99 for 100 loads!! That is only $ 0.13 per load if you follow their instructions. Here is how to use them:
The bag: I find the bags that come with them keep opening up. I use a zip up lingerie bag, or a reusable produce bag. I tie the end in a knot. These bags are bigger and easier to find in the laundry too.
What if you put them in the dryer? Nothing. They get dry that's all - they're still good!

- Place 4-5 Eco Nuts in the reusable wash bag provided and tie it closed.
- Put it in with your laundry and wash as normal. We recommend following the instructions on your garment tags for the temperature and type of wash cycle that is best for the fabric.
- Remove the bag at the end of the wash and set aside to dry or do another load.
- Re-use up to 10 times* until they start to disintegrate and then they can be composted in your garden or simply add new Eco Nuts to the bag.
